Christ Church will have their Annual Parish meeting on January 3, 2016 immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service.
During this meeting annual reports will be given and the election of our 2018 Vestry Members will be held. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.

Elections to be held January 3, 2016

We have eight candidates for the position of Vestry 2018. Each candidate has been asked to answer a few questions and submitted a photo. This information is available here and will be posted in the parish hall.
Nominees are: Jeana Beeland, John Bennett, Stephanie Blevins, Tammy Borders, Sandra Fletcher, Duke Guthrie, Millie Johnson, and Molly Stevenson.
Vestry Elections will be held on January 3, 2016 during the Annual Parish meeting to be held immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. |

Bishop Benhase will be at Christ Church on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
There will only be one service at 10:00 a.m. on January 10th.
A reception will immediately follow the 10:00 service. Sunday School activities will be suspended for the day. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. |

Friday Morning Bible Study resumes -- We are having a four-week Friday morning Bible study (10:30-11:30) on Paul's Letter to the Romans beginning Friday, January 8 and concluding Friday, January 29.

The Wednesday night ladies bible study will begin a new 5 week class on January 6. We will be studying Priscilla Shirer's book, Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath. This study will help women learn to cease from activities and busyness and build margin into your life for God. It's a great way to prepare for Lent. A Cursillo weekend will be held at Honey Creek February 25-28. Several of our own church members will be participating. Cursillo's mission is equipping Christians for leadership and service to change the world for Christ. Won't you prayerfully consider joining us? For details contact Elise Sandbach.

Have you always wanted to try a yoga class? (But can't touch your toes...not flexible enough??) All you need is a willing spirit.
Kelly Turner is a 200 RYT instructor that has been teaching regularly for the past six years. Please join her for FREE yoga in the Parish Hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m Monday, January 11, and January 25, 2016. Open to all.
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel (yoga blocks and strap:optional).
