This Fall we will begin a six-week Wednesday Night dinner and adult teaching series that will run from September 16th through October 21st. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

 January 2016 Bishop Benhase will be at Christ Church. Take classes, learn about our faith, and come for confirmation on 1/10/16. We have resumed holding our weekly Wednesday Night Eucharist. The service begins at 6:00 p.m.

Names and Addresses Needed

On September 6th, Pre-K through Middle School Classes will combine for a service project that involves making cards for Home-bound, sick or hospitalized parishioners and also for college students. If you would like for us to send someone a card, please send their name and complete address to the Church Office by September 4th. |

We have a number of people who use or buildings for reunion groups, bible studies, preparing for Sunday School. If you or your group move furniture around, or adjust the thermostats; please make sure that these items are placed back in their original positions. We want to be good stewards with our time and funds. Here in South Georgia we do not want our A/C running at 68 degrees when there is no one in the building. Also before you leave please make sure that ALL doors are locked. Thank You!

Lowndes Area Crisis Care (LACC)
|
Lowndes Area Crisis Care (LACC) is organized by area churches to provide short-term financial help for those in emergency need. Individuals seeking assistance from churches and other community organizations may be referred to LACC to determine the best way to help during financial crises. Several people from Christ Church are involved in this endeavor, and LACC is seeking additional donations and volunteers. LACC's office is at the Lowndes County Social Services Building, 601 N. Lee St. and LACC will reopen in early September. Contact Diane Holliman or (229-560-8645) for more information.
