About seventy members of Christ Church attended the parish weekend at Honey Creek from May 22-24, 2015. Some of the intergenerational activities included the zip line, swimming, corn hole contests, a nature hike, fishing at the dock, playing bridge, bird watching, Frisbee golf, walking, visiting and socializing - plus the bonfire Saturday night! Open to everyone in the Diocese of Georgia

If you enjoyed the recent parish weekend at Honey Creek and would like to do something like that again soon, or if you were not able to attend the weekend, you might want to check out another similar opportunity sponsored by the Diocese of Georgia that is coming up July 1-5, 2015. Honey Creek is open during this time for anyone in the Diocese to come and enjoy time with friends and family.
This week falls in between camp sessions, and the schedule is yours to design! Enjoy meals in the dining hall, swim in the pool, swing on the tire swings, ride bicycles, go kayaking, visit Jekyll and St. Simons Islands, go to Summer Waves, and spend some happy time time with family and friends. There will be a parade before lunch on July 4th, so bring your flags to march in the parade or wave and cheer from the sidelines. Come for all of those days, or just one or two, or make it a day trip and enjoy lunch at the Creek!

| Dominican Republic Mission Trip |

June 15 - June 22, 2015 - TWO WEEKS AWAY!
|
We're two weeks away from the start of this year's mission trip to the Dominican Republic!
Using funds that we have already sent to the Diocese of the Dominican Republic, work has begun in El Pedregal to demolish the wooden house that our team will rebuild using concrete blocks during our week there. A Dominican crew has prepared the footings for the house's concrete block walls, and will soon begin the preparatory steps to take down parts of another house for us to renovate to serve as a day care center for the community.

Our Junior and Middle School EYC groups are collecting hotel/sample sized toiletries which they will bag and send to The Haven for their clients. There will be a collection bin in the Parish Hall. Thank you so much for helping our youth do God's work in our community!
