Members elected to 2017 Vestry are: Allan Dear, Sallie Honeycutt, Dottie Pitts and Nikki Yarbrough. We look forward to their time on the Vestry and thank them for agreeing to serve.

Christ Church would like to say "Thank You!" to our outgoing Vestry members: Robin Coleman, Jeff Hanson, Will Hanson, Phyllis Hiers, David Sandbach and Jeani Synyard. They have been instrumental in their work, and dedication to Christ Church in the past three years; with the retirement of Father Peter, transition to Interim Priest and also through the calling of Father Dave. - Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Snacks and Fun
- Saturday, February 7, 2015 beginning at 9 a.m. with light breakfast and coffee. We will have lunch and end with Eucharist at 2 p.m.

It's time to get together to finish our Purple Cap project and to plan for our 2015 stitching.
Let's meet on Sunday, January 25th at 4 pm in the Parish Hall.
Please bring any purple baby caps that you have finished so that we can have them blessed and then distributed to the SGMC Nursery.
Prior to the meeting, be thinking about how you would like to see the Stitchers minister to our community through handmade woolies. If you cannot make the meeting, just send me an email with your thoughts.
See you on the 25th....and bring a friend! Remember, we have great knitting and crochet teachers!

The 2015 Dominican Republic Mission Team is meeting Sunday, January 25, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Christ Church Parish Hall to discuss projects and logistical arrangements for our trip. We currently have 24 people signed up for the team. While this number is the limit the team can accept because of in-country bus transportation, there are 8 people who have not yet bought their tickets. If anyone would like to be placed on the team waiting list, please come to the meeting and give your name to Julia Ariail. The cost of the trip is approximately $1200. Can't be a member of the "Go Team" this year? Please consider being a "Home Team" member and donate money to support our building projects: a daycare center and a village home. Join the team on June 8 - 11 as we explore God's love in action. We will need:

- Storytelling and Crafts Leader

- Games Leader and Crew
- Registration Leader
- Decorating Leader and Helpers
As planning continues, there will also be opportunities to donate any items needed for VBS!
