Caroling and Desserts - December 19, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Molly and Paul Stevenson. Enjoy the age old tradition of door-to-door caroling and share your favorite dessert.
We will meet at the Stevenson's home at 6:30, head out and do some caroling, then return to the home of the Stevenson and enjoy some desserts.
Please bring a favorite dessert to share.

Kid's Christmas Party - will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The Party is for kids Pre-K through 5th grade. There will be crafts, games, cookie decorating, science experiments, The Story of Christmas, and lunch.
This year instead of an Epiphany Pageant we will be doing a Christmas Pageant on December 21st during the 10:00 service.
(If your child would like to participate in the Christmas Pageant but can not attend the Christmas Party, please contact Stefani Carroll.)
Volunteers are also needed.

On November 9th, Father Dave blessed more than 150 scarves,
we will be distributing the scarves to the children at Hudson Docket and Ora Lee West on Saturday, December 6th. They will be Christmas presents for our children!!!!
We hope that each of you can come to the church at 11:30 on December 6th. We will travel together to distribute the scarves...AND, you can see how wonderful the Lunch Bunch ministry is, as well! We need bunches of volunteers to help make and distribute lunches on the first and third Saturday of the month. |

St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge

Come join us for the 30th birding/eating celebration of the New Year at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge this January 1, 2015. Meet us there or join up at 8 a.m. in the Christ Church parking lot to form a caravan. We'll see the many ducks, wading birds, and bald eagles that winter at St. Marks. Bring food to share for a noon picnic. In mid-afternoon we'll head to Wakulla Springs for a boat tour and hope to see manatees along with the many birds and gators there. We'll end the day with a seafood dinner at Spring Creek Restaurant. Come for all or part of the day. Call Phyllis Hiers (244-5942) for more information. The online Vineyard has maps and information.

Wooten Desk appraised at $16,000

 The Community Depot will be raffling off a Wooten Desk (appraised at $16,000) during the holiday season. Tickets are only $5.00 each. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. All proceeds will be used for local charity. Also...... they are still accepting donations of winter clothes to distribute to local families in need and the Homeless in our community. New Scholarship Thank-you Letters

Ten new letters from the school in El Pedregal
|
|
We have received ten more thank-you notes for the 35 scholarships we donated for the school in El Pedregal. Christ Church received twenty-five letters in September and the additional ten letters came in November. These thirty-five scholarships represent $12,500. Thanks to all who donated to this cause.
