Dear Christ Church Family.....

When I woke up after the fall and then the surgery, I didn't really remember who I was or where I was and to complicate things, I couldn't swallow! It was a frightening and uncertain situation-I've always been in control and sure of myself.

I felt not only the spiritual presence of many of those in the Christ Church family, but I also felt your prayers. Your visits were so special, the cards uplifting, the pumpkin bread, the flowers, the shared communion with Fr. Dave and family were appreciated.

I truly appreciate everything and feel blessed to be a part of Christ Church.

Thank you,

Dave Clark

Foyer Groups (Supper Club)

Foyer Groups are being formed and will be starting up soon. For newcomers, or anyone not familiar with Foyer Groups - it is like a supper club.  The groups will meet every other month (six times a year) in a different member's home, or a restaurant, or even the parish hall.  This is a great way for newcomers to meet fellow parishioners.  It is open to singles and couples, young and old (adults only).  For more information or to sign up, contact Sallie Honeycutt or (417) 294-7796.

Planning for the 2015 Mission Trip
Plus new photos from the school in El Peregal

Take a quick look at the Planning Page (link below) for our 2015 DR Mission Trip. Obviously, many of the pertinent details are not yet in place, but this will give our former missioners a link to send their interested friends. While these initial details may not be inspiring, your stories of what a previous trip meant to you are. Tell your story and help us recruit a really strong team!

Planning Page for 2015 Mission Trip

We recently received some new pictures from the school in El Pedregal. These are the first pictures that we have seen of every classroom and the active use of the playground we built in June 2014 in partnership with the Nebraska youth mission team.
