2014 Church Directory

The Communications Committee has completed a new Church Directory.  If you would like a PDF of the directory to print at home (21 pages), contact Kim Dudley or Michael Black.

We have not had an up-to-date directory in five years, and this document is our best attempt to capture those individuals who are affiliated with Christ Church.  We apologize in advance if your name or picture is inadvertently omitted; email us and we will correct immediately.

Flower Calendar
The Flower Calendar is posted in the parish hall.  There are a number of vacancies for the months of August through November.  If you are interested in placing flowers on the altar one Sunday, please stop by the parish hall and sign-up. Flowers can come from a number of sources such as florists, nurseries, wild flowers, or your yard.  Flowers can be given in honor or memory of loved ones.  Contact Kim Dudley for more details.
Acolytes Needed
Would you like to be an Acolyte and help out with worship? We are looking for those interested in serving the church as an Acolyte.  If you are 8 years of age or older, you can be an Acolyte.  Please contact Father Dave or the church office to let us know your interest.  There will be a training session for Acolytes in August.

All Sunday School classes will resume on August 10, 2014 at 11:15 a.m.  Please mark your calendars and plan on attending Sunday School.
Sunday Sermons
Father Dave's sermons will now be posted on the website by each Monday afternoon.  If you missed some key information, would like to refresh what was said, or you missed church Sunday, you can access the website under our "Sermon" heading. The July 13th sermon can be found here.
Notebook Paper
Till the end of July

The Ministries Committee is working together with the South Georgia Partnership to End Homelessness to provide school supplies.  Christ Church has been asked to provide notebook paper (Wide Rule and College Rule) for the 1,000 backpacks.  We are only in need of notebook paper.  Other organizations are collecting certain items as well.  There will be a box in the nave of the Sanctuary for the rest of July.  If you would prefer to make a monetary donation to help this cause, please make checks to Christ Church and denote that it is for notebook paper.
