Time Change
Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:00 a.m.
Welcome to Spring(ing forward)!  Daylight saving time starts this weekend, when we turn our clocks forward an hour starting at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 9.

This is the "bad" switch, when we "lose" an hour of sleep over night. The time change can make us sleepier than usual, so be careful if you have to drive early on Sunday morning.

The good news is that the sun will seem to rise and set later in the day than it does now, so we have more time to enjoy the daylight during the hours we are normally awake - after work. :)

Stitchers and Friends
Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 3 - 6 p.m.

The Stitchers will meet this Sunday in the parish hall from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.  You do not have to stay the entire time.

We have lots of nw projects up our collective sleeves.

Our own Katie Wisenbaker needs lanyards for her Happening weekend.  We need to make 80 and they are a super easy project for a beginning knitter.

Come learn about other Easy Peasy projects: Hats, Twiddlemuffs

& SQUARES.

Bring a friend!

Search Committee Update
4 finalists visited

The Search Committee has completed its visits to meet the four candidates for rector and to hear them preach.  In all cases, the committee was warmly received.  We appreciate your prayers for safe travel.  We are in the process of deciding which candidates to bring to Valdosta.  Please continue your prayers for the search committee "that their hearts and minds may be open to what your spirit is saying and for the priest whose name is yet known to you alone, that he be open to your call."

We appreciate your patience and support throughout this search. -- Phyllis Holland, Chair
