Preschool and PMO have openings
|
Our Preschool began Monday, August 26 but still has openings available for our 3-and 4-year-old classes.
Our PMO operates year-round and also has openings.
Both have new web pages at these links:
|
Our opening has been posted on the Office of Transition Ministry Website. We should now pray that God will direct the one He has called for us to apply and that the Search Committee will be able to discern that person. The posting will close on December 1 so we are entering a season of waiting. Thanks to the congregation for all you have done to this point. Don't forget the importance of your pledge to this process!! If you have questions, please contact Phyllis Holland, 242-0577.
With our sincere gratitude,
The Search Committee members: Michael Black; Allan Dear; Phyllis Holland, Chair; Jeani Synyard; Mike Tanner; Helen Tucker; Nikki Yarbrough.

Guice Hall Dedication Planned at Honey Creek
On Sunday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m., Bishop Benhase will dedicate Guice Hall in thanksgiving for the contributions of Pam Guice and her family to the Diocese of Georgia as a whole and particularly to the Honey Creek Summer Camp Program. For decades, Pam was the foundation of the Summer Camp Program, serving as its director and guiding force. The building previously identified as Martha's Cottage is being renamed with the grateful thanks for the diocesan community. The diocesan community is invited to attend the dedication. If you would like to stay for dinner at Honey Creek, please call the Honey Creek office at 912-265-9218 to make a reservation and arrange to pay for the meal.

Dear Vestry and Members of Christ Church,
Thank you so much for the lovely bracelet and kind words at the reception. I have truly enjoyed being your organist for these many years. Thank you for the priviledge of sharing in our worship each week. Ken and I will miss seeing you on a regular basis. Thanks for the good times we have shared.
Love, Sue Ellen
