Question of the Week

Question of the Week: Sr. Thea Bowman was a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration who dedicated her life to working for the African American Catholic community.  What institution did she co-found at Xavier University in Louisiana?

Last Week's Answer: On Monday, February 3rd, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) awarded the AJCU Lifetime Achievement Award to Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) for his exceptional advocacy for Pell grants and campus-based aid, and support of Jesuit higher education.

Last Week's Winner: Congrats, Claire Burns!

Send your answer to Cindy Schmersal by 8:00am on Wednesday.  Of those students who respond, one will be chosen at random to receive a free (and delicious!) twister from the Pub.  The winner will be announced in the following week's bulletin.

Prayer for the Week

Come, come, whoever you are,

Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving-

It doesn't matter.

Ours is not a caravan of despair.

Come, even if you have broken your vows

A hundred times

Come, come again, come.
