New This Semester
Eucharistic Adoration is offered from 9pm-10pm every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening in the Mabee Chapel.  We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for quiet prayer and rest in Christ's presence.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation with Fr. Luke Byrne, SJ is now offered on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-7pm at the Jesuit Residence.  Use the entrance directly across from the Campus Ministry Center.  A Campus Ministry student worker will be present to let you in.  Feel free to join us for Pasta and Prayer beforehand then venture over to the Jes Res after dinner.

Students for Life is gathering every Tuesday evening at 9pm in the Mabee Chapel to pray a Rosary for Life.  Don't have a rosary with you at school?  Not to worry, free glow-in-the-dark rosaries are available.
Tonight: Evening with Jesuit Novices

This Sunday, February 16th after the 6 pm mass,

get together with the Jesuit novices

The Son of God $3 Movie Night:

In partnership with SAB, Campus Ministry is offering a $3 Movie Night for The Son of God, the first feature-length film about Jesus in more than a decade.

 Your $3 will get you:

1. A ticket to the movie at Cinemark on the Plaza for Friday,

February 28th (time TBA)

2. Post-film dessert at Buca di Beppo

3. Scintillating post-film discussion

Pre-film readings and a willingness to engage in dialogue about the film are required.  Space is limited to the first 25 who sign up on Bill Kriege's door.

Recycling Blessed Palms

Do you have blessed palms from last year's Palm Sunday?

Bring them to SFX within the next couple of weeks so that they may be burned and used to create ashes for this year's Ash Wednesday service.

Immigration Reform

Add your voice to that of the U.S. Catholic Bishops and the U.S. Jesuit provincials by asking congress to pass humane comprehensive immigration reform!

You are invited to participate in Ignatian Family Advocacy Month, which is a coordinated, nationwide effort of direct advocacy.

Come to learn more about immigration reform and then join a group of Rockhurst students as we visit the local offices of our U.S. Senators and Representatives.

Our next meeting is Thursday, February, 20th at 9:00pm

in the Finucane Jesuit Center.

Last Week's Winner: Congrats, Tyler Scroggs!question mark

Send your answer to Cindy Schmersal by 8:00am on Wednesday.  Of those students who respond, one will be chosen at random to receive a free (and delicious!) twister from the Pub.  The winner will be announced in the following week's bulletin.

Prayer for the Week

Father of the poor, God of love, you made us all your children; we praise You and thank You. Full us with a sense of justice. Help us in your work, to take the side of the homeless, the struggling, the lowly, to defend the newcomer, to welcome the stranger. Help us now to befriend the friendless, protect the weak children, and work for the rights of all. Lord, on our journey home, bring us together in peace, in justice, and in love, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
