This Sunday's (September 29th) 6pm student mass will be celebrated in the Mabee Chapel in Massman Hall rather than at St. Francis Xavier. If you weren't able to join us for yesterday's Family and Alumni Weekend Mass, we look forward to seeing you later today!
|
Monday: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament |
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Mabee Chapel the last Monday of each month from 12:30pm until 10:00pm. Adoration will take place tomorrow, Monday, September 30th. Sign up for a time slot the outside of the chapel door or simply stop by as your schedule allows.

Ladies, LIFT is offering a book club - day and time yet to be determined based on the availability of those interested.
The first read is How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul. For those of you feeling like you've reached or are nearing your reading threshold with academic material, know that we will move slowly through the book.
If interested in joining in, please email Cindy this week.
The cost of the book will be around $5-6.

Fr. Drew Kirschman, S.J., Vocation Director for the Missouri Province, will be at the Jesuit Residence, Claver East, Rockhurst Rd and Tracy, after the 6 P.M. Sunday Mass on October 6 to talk about vocations. All are welcome.

Interested? Contact Cindy or stop by the Campus Ministry offices to pick up an application.

World Cultures Day Prayer Service |
Join us on Thursday, October 10th at 11am in the Convocation Center for the World Culture's Day Prayer Service.

Question of the Week: Who is Fr. Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, SJ? (You see a well-known quote of his every time you pass the bell tower.)
Last Week's Answer: St. Padre Pio is the patron saint of civil defense volunteers.
Last Week's Winner is . . . Jeremy Kamper!
Send your answer to Cindy Schmersal by 9:00am on Wednesday. Of those students who respond, one will be chosen at random to receive a free (and delicious!) twister from the Pub. The winner will be announced in the following week's bulletin.

into the arms of God.
And be very sure of this -
that if God wants anything of you,
He will fit you for your work,
