Question of the Week
question markQuestion of the Week: A bit of trivia . . .This week, we have representatives from the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest (JVCNW) on campus.  At least three Rockhurst staff members are former Jesuit Volunteers.  For every one of the three you correctly identify, you will receive one entry in this week's Question of the Week drawing. (Hint: All three of these staff members have offices in Massman hall.)

Last Week's Answer: During the battle of Pamplona, St. Ignatius' leg was shattered by a canon ball. Ouch!

Last Week's Winner: Philip Calcagno

Send your answer to Cindy Schmersal by 9:00am on Wednesday.  Of those students who respond, one will be chosen at random to receive a free (and delicious!) twister from the Pub.  The winner will be announced in the following week's bulletin.

Check it Out!

Prayer for the Week

Mighty God, Father of all,

Compassionate God, Mother of all,

bless every person I have met,

every face I have seen,

every voice I have heard,

especially those most dear;

bless every city, town, and

street that I have known,

bless every sight I have seen,

every sound I have heard,

every object I have touched.

In some mysterious way these

have all fashioned my life;

all that I am,

I have received.

Great God, bless the world

-       Jack Morris, SJ, Founder of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps
