Retreat on the Rock
Winter Service Immersion Trip Blessing
During the 6pm Mass on Sunday, December 9th, the students, faculty and staff participating in service immersion trips to New Orleans and Nicaragua will be blessed.
Stick with it!!

YOU GOT IT HAWKS!  Only a little longer until break! Remember this when you feel like you are at your breaking point.  Too blessed to be stressed! Pray with gratitude for your opportunity to receive a college education and live in the 1% of people who have that blessing.
Evening Mass Times over Finals

Due to Fr. Bredeck's funeral in St. Louis, 9:15pm Reconciliation and the 10:10pm Mass are cancelled.

9:15pm Reconciliation will take place before the evening's 10:10pm Mass.

10:10pm Mass is cancelled.

Mass Times over Break
Due to Christmas break, noon, 10:10 and Sunday 6pm Masses will not take place beginning Sunday, December 16th through Sunday, January 13th. The regular Mass schedule will resume with noon Mass on Monday, January 14th.

SFX offers daily Masses Tuesday-Friday at 7:00am and 11:00am and weekend Masses at 4:00 on Saturday and 8:00am and 10:30am on Sunday.

None! Happy Christmas Break!
Send your answer to Cindy Schmersal by 9:00am on Wednesday.  Of those students who respond, one will be chosen at random to receive a free (and delicious!) twister from the Pub.  The winner will be announced in the following week's bulletin.
Last week's winner is . . .  Sarah Nicholas
A Prayer
Mary, Mother of fair love, of fear, of knowledge,
and of holy hope,
by whose loving care and intercession many,
otherwise poor in intellect,
have wonderfully advanced in knowledge and in holiness, thee do I choose as the guide and patroness of my studies; and I humbly implore,
through the deep tenderness of thy maternal love,
and especially through that eternal Wisdom
who deigned to take from thee our flesh
and who gifted thee beyond all the saints with heavenly light, that thou wouldst obtain for me
by thy intercession the grace of the Holy Spirit that I may be able to grasp with strong intellect,
retain in memory, proclaim by word and deed,
and teach others all things which bring honor to thee and to thy Son, and which for me and for others are salutary for eternal life. Amen.
