Greetings!
I am bursting with pride this Spring. I am proud to live in a community with extraordinary people and organizations like our 2013 Community Action Champions award winners: Joyce Dudley, Miguel Chavez, and the Orfalea Foundation. I am proud of CAC's Head Start teachers and staff because so many of our centers have now achieved accreditation from the National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC). I am proud of the healthy and delicious food served at CAC's Back Door Deli and I am proud of the highly skilled staff members in CAC's Energy Services Department. I hope you enjoy learning more about these exceptional individuals and programs in our Spring 2013 issue of the CAC Newsletter.
