What does serving on a nonprofit board really mean?

Today, more than ever, nonprofit organizations rely on volunteer board members for talent, time and support. If you're serving on a board - or if you're considering board service - do you have the information and skills you need to support your organization? On Saturday, Feb. 15, the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon (SSMO) will host an informative workshop on developing board skills.
