A MESSAGE FROM THE SSMO
SUPERIOR GENERAL

Dear Families and Friends,

Last month as the HVAC project in the Motherhouse was coming closer to the end, we hosted a dinner honoring the employees of American Heating and Cherry City Electric.  After seeing the "orange shirts" and "red shirts" on all floors and wings of this building since last April, we are having mixed feelings about their departure.  They have been very respectful and, might I say, enjoyable!

Story of Faith: Emma Bleily, SSMO's first Superior General

Most Americans can find stories of faith in their ancestors, many of whom came here seeking freedom of religion. It is no different for the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon.
