Fall Fun Fair Planning Meeting
Calling all MLS parents who are interested in getting involved in this fall's Fun Fair. There is lots to plan and plenty to do! If you are interested in finding out more about the process and how you can help, please join Rebekah Goldberg and Courtney Nolde on Thursday, May 26th in the school cafeteria at 8:15 am for a short, informational chat about the Fun Fair. Questions or interested in helping, but can't attend the informational session? Email Rebekah Goldberg (rebekahgoldberg@gmail.com) or Courtney Nolde (cwnolde@gmail.com).

Thank you to all PTO members (that's you!) who voted on the slate of officers. The slate has been approved! We appreciate the fearless volunteers who will serve on the board for the 2016-17 school year. Click here for the slate of officers.

mlspto.org Highlights for the Week

MLS is registered as a Crayola "Eco Cool School": Crayola will pay shipping costs for the school to send in dried up/dead markers and tops of any brand! This is a great way to clean out desks, drawers, and backpacks at the end of the school year and keep all these plastic markers out of the landfills. Mrs. Atkinson has a collection box in the library, where students can drop off old markers now through the end of the year. For more information about the program, click here.

Spring Enrichment Zone Survey
Please take a few moments to offer feedback on your family's experience with Enrichment Zone classes this Spring. Your thoughts are helpful and appreciated as we begin to plan for next year. You can find the survey by clicking here. Thank you for your feedback!

  • Camp4Real: The popular Camp4Real, led by PE Teacher Scott Williams and his team, is open for signups for both online or paper registration! Early bird rates last through June 3. Click here for dates, locations, and camp info for this summer.
