In the Spotlight

Thanks to outstanding participation from the MLS community, it has been a fabulous fundraising year for the PTO! Whether you attended the Fun Fair with your children, participated in the Annual Fund, or supported the auction, your contributions have helped us fund not only the Professional Development Fund for the 2nd straight year, but also build an amazing playground (coming this summer! Details coming soon!) and support our World Language initiative. In May and June, the board will plan for year-end expenditures, set budget goals for next year, and work with Dr. Irani to identify funding priorities for next year's Annual Fund. The PTO will have some funds available to distribute at the end of the year and this is where our parents, teachers, and staff come in! What needs have you identified at MLS? Where would like to see PTO and school funds allocated for the betterment of our students? We welcome your ideas and proposals. Your suggestions will be included in our prioritization and review process.

Click here for a copy of the "Parent Funding Suggestion Form" to share your ideas. Please be sure to complete each section as thoroughly as possible so that we may fully consider your request, and submit your form by Wednesday, May 4th. Thank you once again for your enthusiasm and support!
