ACPS Considers Spring Break Modifications
Because of the numerous snow days during this calendar year, ACPS is considering adding back instructional hours next week during spring break. They will vote this Sunday afternoon and notify families of any added school days by phone at 5:00 am on Monday morning. Discussions are underway to have Josh Davis of Henrico County Schools record the announcement, for old times' sake. Click here for more information.

PTO Board to Add "Carpool Chair" to Slate of Board Positions
In order to alleviate congestion during the morning and afternoon drop-off lines, the PTO will add, effectively immediately, a Carpool Chair board position. The PTO will organize sales of baked goods, chocolate bars, citrus fruit, wrapping paper, eco-friendly housewares, coupon books, gourmet popcorn, and garbage bags (and a car wash!) to purchase a uniform for this person; check out our Signup Genius to help! MLS parent James Younger has agreed to take this role on for the remainder of the school year -- thank you JSY!
