Are you interested in being a part of the PTO leadership? Join us on Monday, February 22 at 8 am to find out more about how you can help. Some of the current PTO committee chairs and board members will be in the cafeteria to answer any questions you may have. There are manopportunities to be involved. We hope we can help you find something that interests you! Whether you're looking to help with a one-time event, or have an all-year commitment; wanting to do something from the comfort of your own home, or something at the school -- we have the job for you! Bingo Night is Friday, February 26 from 6-8 pm in the MLS cafeteria. This is an all-ages event, sponsored by the MLS PTO so we all have an excuse for our kids, parents and teachers to hang out together and have a good time. MLS 5th grade teacher extraordinaire Cheryl Wetmore-Simpson has been named the Z95.1 Teacher of the Month for February! Z95.1's Teacher of the Month is recognized on the radio, on-line at Z95.net, and at their school with a special visit from Z95.1's Sherry Taylor. Congratulations, Ms. Wetmore-Simpson, on this well-deserved honor!

Looking to keep those New Year's Resolutions? Ready for some pampering after the winter months? The Scholastic Book Fair comes to MLS February 29 through March 3! Volunteers make our fair a success. We need people to help children with their book selections and purchases; we especially need adult cashiers from 6 to 7:30 on Family Night, Wednesday, March 2. To check out all available opportunities, click here to visit our sign-up page.
