Shopping Online for the Holidays?
The holiday season is upon us and with that, so is the shopping season. Don't forget to use the Amazon link here or on our website when you shop at amazon.com. Make sure to click the link first, then shop. Or better yet, set it as your Amazon bookmark! When you use this link, the PTO gets a percentage of every sale: rebates vary from 2-10%!

This week, first grade is in the lead for annual fund participation with 35% of families participating! Second grade is close behind with a giving percentage of 33%. Please consider boosting your child's class percentage (all grades get credit in a family) by giving today! Click here to donate online. Remember, all donations are tax-deductible!

mlspto.org Highlights for the Week

Stop by the newly organized lost & found (thank you Maureen Strazzullo!) to search for your missing coat, shorts, hat, earbuds, or waterbottle. Surely looking through these hangers will be easier than going out to buy a replacement. Click here for a photo of what's there!

The next Girls Geek Day takes place Saturday, December 12, 9-12 pm at Stone-Robinson. This is a great opportunity for girls K-5 to explore cool STEM concepts in a supportive environment!
Click here for more details and a link to registration for this free event.

The Golden Apple program is designed to honor outstanding teachers in public and private schools in Albemarle County and Charlottesville City. Interested in nominating one of MLS's fantastic teachers for this esteemed honor? Click here for more details.

Mark your calendars for a fun (adults-only) night out at King Family Vineyards on March 18, 2016!
Our Facebook page is live! Join us at https://www.facebook.com/mlssilentauction for more information, sneak peeks of auction items, and more! Have something to donate to the Auction? Want to host a mixer? Let us know! Contact Melissa Hoover at mhoover@bridgewater.edu with any questions about donations or Brooke Donovan at ebdonovan@gmail.com to sign up to host a mixer.

Enrichment Zone registration for all Spring sessions (PrE-Zone, Spring I and Spring II) opens online next Wednesday, December 16, at 6:00 am. Watch for the course catalog in backpack mail this week, which includes old favorites, and lots of never-seen-before classes! To support next year's FLES French program (Moving Forward with World Language Planning), we are also trying to develop a French language EZ option for Spring. Because the details are still being worked out, it does not appear in the printed catalog. For more information, click here to visit our Enrichment Zone page.
