As part of our fledgling Bluebirds Care initiative, we've compiled a list of organizations and events that you may find interesting, especially if you would like to involve your children in active service leading up to Thanksgiving. None of these events are sponsored or organized by the MLS PTO, so we encourage you to make sure they are a good fit for your family. Click here for the list!

The ever-popular Kids' Market is back! Kid vendors are invited to create, market, and sell their goods, set up their own booths, and keep or donate their earnings. Shoppers of all ages are welcome too! Vendor sign-up forms are due November 30. Click here for more details.

Custom MLS sportswear makes great holiday gifts! Orders can be placed any time through the RGA website. Orders should be in by December 12 to ensure delivery in time for the holidays. Click here for more details.

Upcoming Events & Deadlines
  • Kids Night Out: Friday, November 20, 6-9 pm. Online registration closes at 5 pm on Thursday, November 19; $5 additional fee applies for Friday registrations. Click here for details and to register. 
  • PTO Board Meeting: Monday, November 23, 6:30-8 pm, MLS library. All are welcome to attend.
  • Thanksgiving Pies Needed: Tuesday, November 24. As is our tradition, we send every MLS staff member home with a homemade pie at Thanksgiving. We are only a few short of our goal of 90 pies! If you can donate a homemade pie (or 2), click here to sign up. 
     
  • No School for Students: November 25 - November 27. Happy Thanksgiving!
  • Kids' Market: December 4, 6-8 pm. Click here for more details!

2015-2016 Yearbooks Available for Pre-Order
MLS Yearbooks are available for pre-order at the cost of $15.00 each. Please fill out the order form your child brought home and return it with a check made payable to MLS PTO, or simply order online at www.balfour.com. Order by December 18, 2015 to ensure your child receives a yearbook. The quantity of yearbooks for purchase thereafter will be limited. 

Community Event: CACHY (Charlottesville-Albemarle Coalition for Healthy Youth) is celebrating National Adoption Day on November 21. Click here for details.
