On Thursday, October 29, the League of Women Voters, together with Parent Council, will host a candidate forum for the At-Large seat on the Albemarle County School Board, as well as the Rivanna and Scottsville districts. The forum will be 7-8:30 pm at Monticello High School. This is an unusual year in that the majority of the School Board seats will be decided by the November 3 election. The forum will be your opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their views on the future of your child's education, and offer comments or ask questions of those who are seeking your vote.
For more information on all the candidates, click here for a voter's guide compiled by Charlottesville Tomorrow.
