We hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. It's time to settle in for a great year at Meriwether Lewis! And to get started right away ...

 

PrE-Zone: "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Registration Open! 

Enrichment Zone is an after-school enrichment program administered by the PTO, offering elective courses in arts, languages, recreation, and more! Getting a jump-start on the fun, PrE-Zone is back this fall with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, a short-course in the gym with Mr. Williams!   • Welcome Coffee for Parents: Friday, August 21, 8:15-9:00 am. Enjoy coffee, snacks, and grown-up conversation at this welcome-back coffee sponsored by the PTO.
  • Back-to-School Family Picnic: Sunday, August 23, 5:00-6:30 pm. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy time with friends. Kona Ice will be available for purchase!
  • MLS Back-to-School Night: Tuesday, September 8, 6-8 pm.

  • EDEP Waiting List: If you're a parent on the EDEP waiting list, click here for information on connecting with other parents exploring possible options.
     
  • Community News - Cub Scout Ice Cream Social: If you have a son in first grade or older, please join Cub Scout Pack 114 at our annual Family Ice Cream Social and paper rocket-building event on Thursday, August 27, at MLS. For more information on this event, click here.
  • MLS PTO Amazon link: Don't forget to use this for ALL your Amazon.com purchases! A portion of every sale comes back to the PTO as a rebate. Just be sure to follow the link before putting items in your cart, or make this link your Amazon bookmark. Find this year's school supply lists on www.mlspto.org or by clicking here.
  • Grocery Reward Programs: The MLS PTO benefits from some very generous reward programs but two of them require a "re-link" at the beginning of each school year. Please take a moment to re-link your shoppers card from Kroger and Harris Teeter to MLS by following the instructions here.
