ACPS Redistricting Advisory Committee

gardening-items.jpg ACPS Redistricting Advisory Committee

The Albemarle County School Board voted on April 2, 2015, to establish a redistricting advisory committee (RAC) to study and recommend options for addressing classroom space needs at Greer Elementary and Albemarle High.  The committee objectives are: to recommend options to address the current and projected student enrollment overcapacity at the two schools, and to study how northern feeder pattern enrollment projections might impact future additions at Woodbrook Elementary School and either Western or Monticello High School.

There are two Western Feeder Pattern representatives to the RAC: Candice Love and James Younger.  The RAC's meeting schedule and presentations are available at the following website:  http://www2.k12albemarle.org/acps/division/superintendent/redistricting/Pages/Current-Projects.aspx
