·       BY CREDIT CARD or PAYPAL ONLINE at http://mlspto.org/committees/annualfund.html

·       BY CHECK VIA BACKPACK MAIL (TODAY OR TOMORROW): send to school in an envelope marked "PTO Annual Fund."

·       BY CHECK VIA US MAIL: mail to MLS PTO, Attn: Annual Fund, 1610 Owensville Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

Box Tops

BOX TOPS

The MLS PTO BOX TOPS classroom contest will begin right after the break on January 5, 2015! More information will follow in January. After the break, Box Tops can be placed in the white bin in the MLS front hallway. Please don't forget to label the Ziploc bag or envelope with your child's name, grade and classroom teacher. For those of you who are counting the Box Tops before you turn them in, it would be extremely helpful if you group them in small Ziploc bags of 50 each (with Bonus Box Tops grouped separately from regular Box Tops). Any questions please contact Brooke Reid at jandbreid@aol.com. Thank you and happy collecting!

Silent Auction Update

Silent Auction

Requesting Support for MLS PTO Annual Silent Auction...

... by hosting a "Meriwether Mixer"!

Historically, the adults' mixers and the kids' mixers have been a great source of fun for all and funds for the PTO! A mixer is a party that one or more parents offer(s) to host and underwrite for parents or kids. At the Auction, attendees can buy a ticket for themselves and/or their kids (depending on the event) for a fixed cost per person. These events are not auctioned; it is essentially buying a ticket to the event on a first come, first served basis. The mixers themselves can take place several months after the Auction. For more information, please see this link.

Whether it's a dinner party for 10 or a cocktail party for 60, a kids' pool party or a movie night, let us know if you are willing to host a mixer! Contact Carleen Kupcis at carleenkup@gmail.com for more information. Mixers are a great way to meet wonderful families at the school!
