Greetings Meriwether Lewis Families:

By now you are aware that we have begun the recruiting process for the next principal for Meriwether Lewis Elementary School. Central Office and Human Resources staff are working on a timeline and process to have the successful candidate identified this spring.

We are seeking your input regarding the qualities you think the successful principal of Meriwether Lewis must possess. Please use the survey at the link below. We are asking you to identify the top three categories a successful principal will need at Meriwether Lewis. In addition, we ask for you to explain your ideas in more detail. The survey should take just a few minutes, and your response is anonymous.

The PTO invites you to an informational meeting about the long range planning direction of the Albemarle School Board such as: the use of trailers in elementary schools, the possible new northern high school, expansion to Crozet Elem., etc. Two of the MLS School Board representatives, Erik Struko and Kate Acuff, will be on hand to share some information and answer questions from MLS parents.
