Uzbek Ambassador's Visit to AUCC Member Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. welcomed H.E. Bakhtiyar Gulyamov, Kamol Muhtarov, Counselor of Trade & Economic Affairs, and U.S. Congressman Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district to its global headquarters located in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania on May 4, 2016.  This visit included a tour of Lutron's Advanced Manufacturing Research Center and a tour of the 2,000 ft2 Experience Center and Showroom. The visit allowed the Ambassador to see firsthand where the world leader in lighting control designs and manufactures the energy saving solutions that are sold in over 100 countries around the world.  The tours were highlighted by meetings with Lutron owners and senior leadership.  Lutron's Senior Vice President Ramin Mehrganpour stated "It was a successful day for all and leads me to believe that the future holds great potential between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Lutron Electronics".
 
The Ambassador's visit to Lutron was preceded by high level discussion at Temple University with the Provost and Dean of Engineering.
