DOGMAN NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

For the week of ...
SEPTEMBER 9th 2014
I like to help out. So I put out Sandi's trash for pick up. Apparently Clyde likes to help out too. He "rescued" a chicken thigh from a trash bag! Clyde must have thought I made a tragic mistake, so he brought me back the Chicken Cacciatore thigh I made last week. Everybody loves my cooking...even Clyde.

In the last newsletter I mentioned how Dude a normally dog shy dog took an instant liking to Big Obnoxious Louie. Dude's owner mentioned that Louie had similar markings to Dude's brother Luigi. Dog's thinking works by association. Dude had a positive association with Louie's appearance. Take a look!

There has been quite a bit of Spencer envy since the last Newsletter. It has gotten so bad that some of the Yellow Labrador Retrievers from the Wednesday Basic class are trying to pass themselves off as Spencer! Can you spot the real one?

The Wednesday Night Basic finally got to have playtime!

The saga of the break in of the Dogmobile continues. I kept full insurance on my old truck just out of habit. It worked out well for me! The truck has to be in the shop for a number of days to repair the pry damage to the door. I had aouto rental coverage that would let me drive a Chevy Geo for a number of days. I joked with the rental guy about only having a Mustang Convertible left on the lot instead....he did not have that, but he brought me a Toyota Avalon with leather interior instead! It is such a nice car:) Alex's friend Bobby and the Dentman both recommended Wenzel's Autobody in Bourne. So far I am very happy with them. Since I have rental coverage for awhile, the Avalon gets at least twice the mileage of the truck, and it is a blast to drive; I told Stephen not to rush the job!

I had a great weekend. We went to Siena's in Mashpee Commons Friday night for a wonderful meal. We met one of Sandi's co-workers for a few beers Saturday night at Sam Diego's Plymouth. Great fun. Saw really beautiful lightning in the clouds but no rain!?
Sunday I watch the Patriots game with my Wayward Boys. The four of us together have had a really good win loss record when we watch a game. Everything was going like gang busters....then Pat and Tyler left to go check out Patriot Jersey's at Olympia Sports...the rest as they say is history. Alex, Tyler and Pat "The Finger":

 OBEDIENCE WALK

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13th 1:30 PM
 MASHPEE COMMONS
We will meet in front of the Movie Theater.
The Commons is one of the best places to bring your dog. The opportunity for socialization is boundless.
Come join us. You may feel silly heeling, sitting and downing your dog by yourself in front of all the people. When we do it as a group there is none of the embarrassment. In fact people are intrigued by our group of well behaved dogs (well mostly well behaved!)

$10.00 R.S.V.P.
