DOGMAN NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

For the week of ...
August 26th 2014
The dog pictured above is Bella. She is a beautiful example of a Pit Bull Terrier. I have a photo album of her on my Facebook Page. There is a photo album of the Saturday Agility drop in class, and of Spencer and Penny playing. Here is a slo mo of their play!

The Saturday agility class was interrupted by an unwelcomed visitor. An intact Pomeranian cross came running down the middle of Depot Street. A nice woman in a car followed him. He came into the Derbyfield Kennel Parking lot. With help from the class and staff (Holly and Toby) we corralled him into the fenced in training area. He probably smelled an intact female which started this merry chase. Neuter your dogs!

* There will be class this Saturday *

Sandi and me went to FIREWATER in Providence R.I. last Saturday. It was quite an experience. It is billed as dog friendly...but I would not recommend bringing one. It is too crowded. I put a photo album on my Facebook Page if you want to see more images:

There is music piped through the whole river area. It is an amazing amount of work for beauty's sake. Glad I did it... but not running back to see it next week though. Off the bucket list!

Cloudless sunsets are pretty boring for photographs. We got these nice reflective pictures at Chapins anyway. Life is like that. You can find good things even when life does not give you what you hoped for (sometimes better things!). My friends Joel and Kim gave up a day of their vacation to finish up the last of the major repairs on the Cottage. Unbelievably nice people. I am going to have to paint a Sistine Chapel ceiling in their house to make up for their help!

  HELP!

I only have three dogs in my Saturday Morning 10:00 am Basic class. We need more dogs to make it groupy. If you are a recent graduate and have a FREINDLY dog you can come to the group and pay only $20.00 per class you attend. We are on lesson four this Saturday. Look at these dogs faces while you hum "arms of an Angel" by Sarah Mclachlan. Won't you help us help them?
You can come just for play time for free be there at
11:00am sharp!

California passed a law allowing pets at out-of-doors dining facilities. Yeah!

Hollywood Fla. Darren Clark was out walking his sister's dog India when he was mugged by an armed assailant. The robber took his wallet Cell phone and his sister's 9 year old Yorkie! Police found the injured India a few days later. She had cuts to the face and was missing a tooth. Her microchip brought her home. Micro Chip your dog...you never know how they will wind up missing. You never know how low people will sink either.
