Get rid of your toxic household products
 


The Whatcom County Disposal of Toxics program will hold a household hazardous waste collection day this Saturday at the local transfer station this weekend, giving community members an opportunity to get rid of potentially dangerous substances in a safe way.


Community listening 
project comes to Point Roberts

Mental health counselor Maureen Buckley is taking her listening skills to the street, restarting the successful Sidewalk Talk program she began in early summer.

Travelers warned against 
bringing firearms across the border

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has issued a warning to make clear to U.S. travelers crossing the border that firearms must be declared upon arrival.

Undeclared firearms could result in seizure, prosecution and ultimately deportation from Canada.
