Earth Day celebrations and activities are popping up all over the Point! With earth-inspired art at the primary school, music and prayers at the church and at the beach and a trash pickup along APA Road, the community is sharing its commitment to protecting the planet.

Seabright Farm to hold eagle-naming contest

Seabright Farm has set up an eagle nest cam, and a nesting pair have taken over the nest. The female has laid two eggs (now called Chick-let and Chick-itita), and Seabright Farm is holding a contest to name the chicks once they hatch.

The contest winner, who will be revealed at the time of the eagles' hatching, will recieve full bragging rights as well as a gift basket.

For details and to submit your names, visit Seabright's website at seabrightfarmcottages.com/seabright-farm-eagle-naming-contest/.
