It was all hands on deck on Monday, January 3 when the local fire department used a donated house on Marine Drive for a morning of live-fire training before burning it down.

Ericksen calls for repeal 
of trans-friendly locker room rule

State senator Doug Ericksen (R-Ferndale) has called for a repeal of new rules that would allow transgendered people access to restrooms and locker rooms of their identified gender.
