Candidates take 
low key approach to local election



Ballots are in mailboxes this week, and candidates for local offices spent an informal evening meeting with voters.

Ten proposed amendments to the county charter

This November, a series of changes to the Whatcom County Charter will be up for debate. The charter is essentially the county's constitution, and serves as a guide for how elections and other government processes are conducted.
