Christine Perkins (at left), executive director of the Whatcom County Library System (WCLS), attended the March 2 meeting of the Point Roberts Taxpayers' Association to discuss services WCLS now provides in Point Roberts and plans to in the future. Association members were especially interested in how a new library would make Gulf Road a more attractive and lively place and how that might affect economic activity on the Point.
