School bond receives overwhelming support

Point Roberts Primary School students celebrate voter approval of a $45 million bond that will pay for capital improvements to Blaine school district facilities. The local primary school will get new playground equipment, a new roof and safety flooring for the indoor play shed, but teacher Mary Edgley said more was in it for local students. "When you leave here to go to Blaine, when you go to high school, you'll have a really great school and the space you need," she said.

PRCAC to meet with 
county official on code enforcement


The Point Roberts Community Advisory Committee has set a tentative meeting with county planner and code enforcement officer Garrett Faddis on Tuesday, February 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss county codes and how they are enforced on the Point.
