Arts and Music Festival gets the go-ahead

The Point Roberts Arts and Music Festival will go ahead this year, reconfigured to accommodate the failing southeastern portion of the Lighthouse Marine Park boardwalk, which the county parks department has closed off due to safety concerns.

"We think it will be fantastic," he said. The northwestern portion of the boardwalk has gotten the safety seal of approval for festival use.
