Ixnay on ignsay, says committee 

The second of two recent sign applications has come before the character plan committee and it too failed to pass muster.
 

The Point Roberts Registered Voters Association AGM tonight at 7 p.m. 

The PRRVA's annual general meeting is tonight at the Gulf Road community center. The feature speaker is county executive Jack Louws with county council member Barbara Brenner in attendance.

 

Fire district adopts earlier meeting time 

After a trial run, the commissioners vote to make the new time official.
 

Calling all green thumbs! 

It takes a lot of work to keep the flowers on Tyee Drive looking spiffy. The garden club is looking for green thumbs to help out.
 

Water district gets the OK to build new offices 

Along with a long list of conditions, the county hearing examiner approved the district's building application. See story
