County marketing project includes Point Roberts
A marketing program using lodging tax dollars to promote the Mt. Baker Foothills and Birch Bay areas will be expanding to include Point Roberts and Lummi Island in 2013. For more information, click here.

| Giving the gift of a library
Friends of the Point Roberts Library will have Christmas gift cards for sale ("Give the Gift of a Library") from now until Christmas. The elegant cards have a glittering representation of the new library in holiday attire. These are excellent gifts for someone who especially cares about libraries, someone who is hard to buy for or someone you love. Maybe even a gift to yourself? The minimum gift card amount is $25. A friend of the library will be at the library with the cards 2-3 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday until Christmas. When you buy one, be sure to sign the donation gift book, the historical record of all who have supported the new library along the way.
