Sandwich-making will take place Saturday, August 20. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to join the St. Michael's Hunger Ministry on the third Saturday of each month from 10-11 AM in the Taylor Room to make sandwiches for the Bridge and FOCUS St. Louis clients.
Rest in Peace
Please pray for the repose of the soul of the Rev'd Canon Dr. Kenneth J. G. Semon, fifth Rector of the Church of St. Michael & St. George. Fr. Semon died Thursday, July 28, 2016, from injuries sustained in a bicycling accident near his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.

In January, 2016, Bishop Salmon along with CSMSG created a professionally recorded 3-CD set encompassing many of his favorite teachings. The CD-set will be on sale in the Great Hall Sunday, August 21, and Sunday, August 28.

SAVE THE DATE - Morning Women's Retreat - October 8, 2016

The title of the retreat is "Christ From the Perspective of Anglican Women - Meeting Jesus through the lives of six influential women of faith."

The retreat will be led by the Rev. Ezgi Saribay and the Rev. Melanie Slane from Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Webster Groves.
Join us for this half-day retreat as we explore the lives and gifts of six women, both local and international, within the history of Anglicanism. The focus will be on how each of them lead in Christ-like manners. This retreat will help us as women grow spiritually deeper in our vocation, ministries, and life. Please join us for this time of reflection and to connect with other women in our greater community.

YOUTH MINISTRY
YM Kickoff Meeting: THIS Sunday, August 21, at 11:30 AM in the Armstrong Room. 

YM Volunteer Orientation and Dinner: THIS Sunday, August 21, the YMLT meets from 4:30-5:30 PM. SS Teachers, Confirmation Sponsors, and Small Group Leaders are asked to come from 5:30-8 PM. This will be held in the Taylor Room. 

6th and 7th Grade Parent YM Orientation: Parents of all 6th and 7th graders are invited for a brief 15-minute orientation in the Armstrong Room NEXT Sunday, August 28, from 11:30-11:45 AM. The 6th and 7th Graders are invited to the Gym for a Root Beer Float while their parents meet. RSVP to youth@csmsg.org by Tuesday, August 23.

Tuesdays with Timothy are BACK! All students are invited to come have a coffee (or whatever) on us at the Starbucks at Wydown & Hanley every Tuesday! Join Timothy this summer from 3:30-4:30 PM, friends are WELCOME!

Confirmation Registration: All rising 8th grade students, as well as older students who have not yet been confirmed, are invited to register for our upcoming 2016-17 Confirmation Class. To register or find out more information, please e-mail Marty Chapman at youth@csmsg.org
