We are now midway through 2016, yet we do not have the financial support to continue to the end of the year. We have $1,713,150 pledged for 2016. We need $1,930,000 to carry out what we have planned for the year. Your help is needed! Please look over the list HERE.
You may find an opportunity that excites you, and inspires you to give over and above your pledge. Whatever the amount, and whatever your ministry passion, your gift is needed and greatly appreciated.
Pledge cards are available online either at www.csmsg.org or click here. You may also pick one up at Church or contact Laurie at Laurie@csmsg.org. Thank you for your pledge!
Celebrating Our History, Insuring Our Future
Planned Giving at CSMSG: Planned Giving is a term for the number of ways in which parishioners can ensure that their stewardship efforts continue after their death by making a gift to the Endowment Fund. If you care enough about your church to make a faithful annual pledge, contributing to our Endowment Fund should be a natural next step. If you are interested in more information about making a planned gift to CSMSG, please visit our
website for more information, or contact the Rector's Office at 314.721.1502.
PARKING REMINDER
The police department has been receiving complaints regarding folks parking too close to driveways, particularly on Sundays. This makes it difficult for neighbors to back out of their driveways on Ellenwood, Cecil, and Wydown as cars are generally parked on both sides of these already narrow streets.
Please leave a minimum of two feet on either side of driveway. The police department does not want to begin issuing tickets on Sundays, but if this continues to occur they will have no alternative.
Thank you for your understanding.

This Sunday's Nicaragua Auction Cancelled
The Steering Committee for the Nicaragua Mission regrets to announce that the fundraising dinner and auction have been cancelled. The response for the dinner was insufficient to proceed with this event.
The Committee feels that the reason for this was one of timing -- many people had other personal conflicts such as vacations, graduations and weddings. The good news is there is still very strong support for this mission in our parish. The event will be rescheduled for next spring. Donations to support the Nicaragua Mission are always appreciated and can be sent directly to the church. For more information on the mission or if you are interested in joining the trip in July, please contact Jennifer McGrath at 636-778-1256, or at jenmcgrath123@gmail.com.
Photos will be taken at Church for the Directory this Sunday! If your photo is not in the Directory we need one from you! Marc Vorih, our church photographer, will take photos at church after the 10 AM servjce. Make plans now to have one taken for the directory OR please email a family and/or individual photo to Laurie@csmsg.org.
For those of you who would like a printed version of our Directory, they will be available today at the Ellenwood door or please let Laurie know at Laurie@csmsg.org or call 314.721.1502. A wonderful feature of our online Directory is the ability to update your information. Just go to the website at www.csmsg.org. At the bottom of the page, click on "Our Church Family." Please look over your information to make sure we are up-to-date. For security reasons, we need your updated email address in our database for you to gain access to the ACS system. Festival Evensong
6 PM Church
CSMSG will host a Festival Evensong for the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. Worshippers will enjoy glorious music and medieval pageantry and be invited to join in prayers for peace in the Holy Land and the welfare of the poor and sick. This annual Festival Evensong and service of rededication will be celebrated by the Order of St. John in St. Louis, which is marking the 25th anniversary of its establishment as a recognized region of the U.S. Priory of the Order.
The Order of St. John is both an active, practical charity and an order of chivalry headed by Queen Elizabeth II. The guest preacher will be the Most Rev'd Frank Griswold III, the 25th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. A reception will follow at the St. Louis Women's Club. For more information, please contact Dr. Thomas M. Hyers, MD, OStJ, at 314.567.5627 or 314.517.7116. All are welcome!

All wines will be boxed and on display in the Great Hall so you can take your best guess at which one is the finest! If you would like to donate a bottle of wine for this fundraiser that supports the trip to Nicaragua in late July, please drop off a bottle of wine (valued at $25 or higher) at church before July 5. For more information, contact Jennifer McGrath at 636.778.1256 or jjenmcgrath123@gmail.com.
