A prayer from
Forward Day by Day -
I will try this day to live a simple, sincere and serene life, repelling promptly every thought of discontent, anxiety, discouragement, impurity, and self-seeking; cultivating cheerfulness, magnanimity, charity, and the habit of holy silence; exercising economy in expenditure, generosity in giving, carefulness in conversation, diligence in appointed service, fidelity to every trust, and a childlike faith in God. Amen.

If you have not yet filled out a pledge card, please do so. Every pledge makes a difference and supports our church with a vital mission and ministry seven days a week.Pledge cards are available online either at  www.csmsg.org or click here. You may also pick one up at Church or contact Laurie at Laurie@csmsg.org

Thank you for your pledge.

Celebrating Our History, Insuring Our Future
Planned Giving at The Church of St. Michael & St. George: Planned Giving is a term for the number of ways in which parishioners can ensure that their stewardship efforts continue after their death by making a gift to the Endowment Fund. If you care enough about your church to make a faithful annual pledge, contributing to our Endowment Fund should be a natural next step. If you are interested in more information about making a planned gift to CSMSG, please visit our website for more information, or contact the Rector's Office at 314.721.1502.

The police department has been receiving complaints regarding folks parking too close to driveways, particularly on Sundays. This makes it difficult for neighbors to back out of their driveways on Ellenwood, Cecil, and Wydown as cars are generally parked on both sides of these already narrow streets.
Please leave a minimum of two feet on either side of driveway. The police department does not want to begin issuing tickets on Sundays, but if this continues to occur they will have no alternative.
Thank you for your understanding.
Summer Schedule begins Sunday: 8 AM Holy Eucharist, 10 AM Choral Eucharist, and 5:30 PM Holy Eucharist.

CS Summer Schedule: Sunday, May 29, is the beginning of the 10 AM summer schedule. Preschool-3rd Grade children meet downstairs in the Pre-Primary Room, for a lectionary-based activity, and they will join their parents in the Church for communion throughout the summer.

Parish Picnic: This Sunday following the 10 AM service, is the annual Parish Picnic in the Street with barbecue, petting zoo and pony rides, Wayne the Balloon Man, and the Castle Bounce. Lunch is free, but the rides are $5 per child with unlimited use! Rain or shine! We will also be collecting canned food for the Food Pantry. Collection baskets will be near the Barbecue.
