Your pledge dollars at work!

Last Sunday, the Church School First Grade acted out the Bible story, 'Jesus Calms the Storm.'
"The disciples went and woke Jesus, saying, 'Lord, save us! We're going to drown!' He replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, 'What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!'"
    Matthew 8: 25-27
Can you remember acting out a chapter in the Bible in your Sunday School? It sticks with you when you do more than read or listen to the story. Your pledge dollars support the spiritual formation of the children in our Church School program. Be sure to watch the video on line of a Sunday morning in St. George's Chapel.

If you have not yet filled out a pledge card, please do so. Every pledge makes a difference and supports our church with a vital mission and ministry seven days a week.Pledge cards are available online either at  www.csmsg.org or click here. You may also pick one up at Church or contact Laurie at Laurie@csmsg.org

Thank you for your pledge.

Celebrating Our History, Insuring Our Future
Planned Giving at The Church of St. Michael & St. George: Planned Giving is a term for the number of ways in which parishioners can ensure that their stewardship efforts continue after their death by making a gift to the Endowment Fund. If you care enough about your church to make a faithful annual pledge, contributing to our Endowment Fund should be a natural next step. If you are interested in more information about making a planned gift to CSMSG, please visit our website for more information, or contact the Rector's Office at 314.721.1502.

Passion Vespers
5 PM
On Palm Sunday afternoon the Choir of the Church of St. Michael & St. George will sing a service of Passion Vespers. This liturgy, akin to the Christmastide services of Lessons and Carols, is a service of exceptional beauty that couples the spoken word with poignant seasonal music. The readings are selected from Scripture, the ancient Church Fathers, and modern-day poets and are interspersed with music, sung by the Choir to illuminate the texts. This is a meaningful way to begin the solemnities of Holy Week, and all are cordially encouraged and welcome to attend.
