Advent Lessons and Carols and Reception
This Sunday, December 6, at 5 PM, the choir will sing the traditional service of Advent Lessons and Carols. This is a wonderful and meaningful way to observe the season of Advent. This service proclaims in word and song the promise of God to redeem the world through the Advent of His Son. The metaphoric procession through the liturgy - from darkness into light - prepares us for the coming of the true Light, Jesus Christ. Please plan to join us for this beautiful liturgy followed by a reception in the Great Hall. Please let Laurie know if you are able to bring an appetizer to share at laurie@csmsg.orgComplimentary child care will be available in the nursery by reservation.
