Rob Lehman and the Rev. Blake Sawicky with members of the Girls' Choir at the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) summer course in Newport, Rhode Island. The RSCM was founded in England in 1927, and exists both to train singers for excellence in sacred music and to be a source of Christian renewal in the lives of the musicians and parishes which it serves. The Newport course is hosted by St. George's Episcopal School (chapel shown), Salve Regina University, and other local parishes and institutions.

The Girls' Choir has returned from their week-long training trip in Newport, RI. They will begin their weekly rehearsals on Wednesday, September 9. The Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 4-6 PM with dinner following, and sings every 1st and 3rd Sunday, either at the 9:15 AM Eucharist or 5 PM Evensong. If you are interested in joining the Girls' Choir, please contact Nicholas Bideler at nick@csmsg.org

2-Click on "Our Church Family"
3-If you are not a current ACS Access user, click "Need a Login." You will be sent a new account verification. You will be able to create your new password. 
4-You will now have access to your personal information and parish directory.
5-If you wish to view the directory, click  on "Directory." 
6-Click on "Print Family Directory" with photos. (don't worry, it won't print)
7-Click "View"
8-Use "CRTL" and "+" to enlarge the photos

We Need Your Photo! 
If your photo is not online, we need one from you! Please email a family and/or individual photo to Laurie@csmsg.org.
We will crop it to fit and put it in the Directory. 

For those of you who would like a printed version of our Directory, please let Laurie know at Laurie@csmsg.org or call 314.721.1502.

Another wonderful feature of our online Directory is the ability to update your information. Please look over everything to make sure we are up to date! 
Upcoming Women's Retreats
Church School 
Preschool-3rd Grade children meet downstairs for a lectionary-based activity and will then join their parents in the Church for Communion for the remainder of the summer schedule.

Church School Families: Look for Church School information in the mail! Registration cards are available in the Great Hall too.  Please let Jane Fisher (jfisher@csmsg.org) know if you did not receive the mailing. 

Church School resumes on September 13 with 9:15 AM services and classes. 
 
Note: There is no Church School on Sunday, September 6. Children can attend Church with their parents.

Youth Ministry

CSMSG Girls' Choir Book Drive

The CSMSG Girls' Choir is sponsoring a Book Drive for the children of Gateway 180, a local homeless shelter CSMSG regularly supports. Outreach 

Hunger Ministry 

To the left of the Taylor Room are two closets marked Hunger Ministry. This is where you will find pans, recipes, Meal-a-Month Yellow Bags, and shelves to place filled Meal-a-Month Bags. They are all now located together.

Shelter Ministry Volunteers Needed
The Shelter Ministry is looking for a handful of additional dedicated volunteers who would be willing to commit to serving at the Shelter breakfast one Sunday a month: i.e., either the first, second, third, or fourth Sunday of each month. We need folks who will help with cooking, set-up, and serving breakfast from 6:15 AM to about 8:15 AM. We are also looking for volunteers to establish dishwashing crews for each Sunday from 7:30 AM to about 8:25 AM.
