Hunger Ministry Sandwich-Making
Saturday, August 15

Sandwich-Making will take place Saturday, August 15. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to join the St. Michael's Hunger Ministry on the third Saturday of each month from 10-11 AM in the Taylor Room to make sandwiches for the Bridge and FOCUS St. Louis clients.

Online Pictorial Directory Is Now Available!
Just a few easy steps:
1-Visit our website at www.csmsg.org2-Click on "Our Church Family" 3-If you are not a current ACS Access user, click "Need a Login". You will be sent a new account verification. You will be able to create your new password. 4-You will now have access to your personal information and parish directory. 5-If you wish to view the directory, click on "Directory". 6-Click on "Print Family Directory" with photos. (don't worry, it won't print) 7-Click "View" 8-Use "CRTL" and "+" to enlarge the photos
We Need Your Photo!
If your photo is not online, we need one from you! Please email a family and/or individual photo to Laurie@csmsg.org. We will crop it to fit and put it in the Directory. If you need a photo taken, a photographer will be at Church this Sunday, August 16.
For those of you who would like a printed version of our Directory, please let Laurie know at Laurie@csmsg.org or call 314.721.1502.

Upcoming Women's Retreats

Church School
Preschool-3rd Grade children meet downstairs for a lectionary-based activity and will then join their parents in the Church for Communion for the remainder of the summer schedule.
Church School Families: Look for Church School information in the mail! Registration cards are available in the Great Hall too. Please let Jane Fisher ( jfisher@csmsg.org) know if you did not receive the mailing.
Church School resumes on September 13 with 9:15 AM services and classes.
Any high school student who is interested in being an Assistant, please contact Jane Fisher at jfisher@csmsg.org. Note: There is no Church School on Sunday, September 6. Children can attend church with their parents.

CSMSG Girls' Choir Book Drive
The CSMSG Girls' Choir is sponsoring a Book Drive for the children of Gateway 180, a local homeless shelter CSMSG regularly supports. A collection basket has been set up outside the Church Library, under the coat rack, to collect your gently-used children's books. Please contact Bess Lehman at csmsgbookdrive@gmail.com

Outreach
Hunger Ministry
To the left of the Taylor Room are two closets marked Hunger Ministry. This is where you will find pans, recipes, Meal-a-Month Yellow Bags, and shelves to place filled Meal-a-Month Bags. They are all now located together.

Shelter Ministry Volunteers Needed
The Shelter Ministry is looking for a handful of additional dedicated volunteers who would be willing to commit to serving at the Shelter breakfast one Sunday a month: i.e., either the first, second, third, or fourth Sunday of each month. We need folks who will help with cooking, set-up, and serving breakfast from 6:15 AM to about 8:15 AM. We are also looking for volunteers to establish dishwashing crews for each Sunday from 7:30 AM to about 8:25 AM.
