Second Chance Book Offer for You
John Tyler's book, The Eucharist: A History for Life-long and New Episcopalians, sold out. A number of parishioners who missed the opportunity to buy the book have asked if there is a way to buy one now. Others who have read the book want copies to give to family and friends. The book printer requires a minimum order in order to do a re-printing, so John will have more copies printed if enough people place an adequate number of book orders. Please click on this link to see what fellow parishioners are saying about the book and to learn how you can take advantage of this opportunity.

Stewardship Campaign 2014-15

This Sunday we will recognize the dedication of our Church School and Youth Ministry teachers. They are giving of themselves, their stewardship of time and ability, to teach our children.
Through your generous pledges, we have the best church school materials available; clean, warm classrooms; and a giving, caring Christian community. With your offerings, we are caring for our children.
Thank you for your faithful stewardship.
If you have not yet made a pledge and wish to do so, you may pick up a pledge card in the pew, Narthex, on the website at www.csmsg.org, or by calling the Church at 314.721.1502.

Nicaraguan Mission
For the last 15 years, The Church of St. Michael & St. George has supported the mission work of Nour Sirker and his Nicaraguan foundation in creating and operating schools and medical clinics in Managua, Nicaragua by raising funds to support the schools and by traveling each year to Managua to provide hands-on help and encouragement.
This year is no exception: Our group will be in Managua for two weeks starting July 19, 2015. Missioners can come for either week or both. Participants report life-changing spiritual experiences.
Why not join us this year? If you are interested, call Carroll Stribling at 314.956.5973 to find out more.
Read more.... for impressions from two first-time travelers who accompanied us on the Mission Trip last year.
Nicaragua Mission Support: The Three T's
Help the CSMSG summer mission trip to Nicaragua with the three T's: Travel-size toiletries, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
Do you travel? Do your friends and co-workers travel as well? Ask them if they'd be willing to help gather toiletries, too.
Don't forget to save (unopened) hotel toiletries for the 2015 mission trip to Nicaragua. Missioners take toiletry bags of soap, shampoo, and lotion to the patients at the women's and children's hospital in Managua. 400 toiletry bags are given by the missioners to the patients each year.
Toothbrushes and toothpaste go to the kids at the school in Nejapa for healthy and bright smiles! (Does your dentist have extras?)
All donations can be dropped off at the Nicaragua donation closet located across from the Church Library.
Cleaning out the kids' toy box?
Send gently used toys to Nicaragua in a mission volunteer's second suitcase. Educational toys are needed and will be used by the children at the school in Nejapa. Place items in the Nicaragua donation closet located across from the Church Library. Suitcase space is limited, so please check the list below for needed items.
Needed items: (Please - NO stuffed animals) educational toys and DVD's, Legos/Lincoln Logs/building blocks, tent 'Play House' (Playhut, etc), 'play house' dishes, large trucks/cars, baby dolls, puzzles (ages 6+), games/board games/jacks, etc.
Gracias!
