Shelter Ministry's 25th Anniversary
This Sunday, the Shelter Ministry will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Every Sunday, for 25 years, members of our Church have volunteered their time to prepare and serve breakfast to those in need at Gateway 180. During the 9:15 AM liturgy, CSMSG will recognize all who have volunteered at the Shelter and hold a reception in the Great Hall after the service.

Stewardship Campaign 2014

Through our worship, we offer God our glory, honor, and power. Our offerings of time, ability, and money are the grateful response of the created, returning to the Creator a gift of God's creation. Through your generous gifts, we here at The Church of St. Michael & St. George proclaim the Creator to the world.

As of Monday we have received 240 pledges for a total of $1,325,403. The goal is $2,200,000.

If you want to make a pledge and need a pledge card, please contact Laurie Brown at Laurie@csmsg.org or 314.721.1502. Pledge cards can be found in the pews, Great Hall, or Narthex.

Each and every pledge makes a difference. Thank you for your pledge!

"Celebrating Our History, Insuring Our Future"

Planned Giving at CSMSG

Planned Giving is a term for the number of ways in which parishioners can insure that their stewardship efforts continue after their death by making a gift to the Endowment Fund. If you care enough about your church to make a faithful annual pledge, contributing to our Endowment Fund should be a natural next step. If you are interested in more information about making a planned gift to CSMSG, please visit our website at www.csmsg.org for more information, or please contact the Rector's Office at 314.721.1502.

A Candlelight Service of Advent Lessons and Carols

5 PM     Church

A wonderful and meaningful way to usher in the season of Advent is through the service of Advent Lessons and Carols. This service, originally composed by The Very Reverend Eric Milner-White for use at King's College Chapel, Cambridge, proclaims in word and song the promise of God to redeem the world through the Advent of His Son. The metaphoric procession through the liturgy - from darkness into light - is intended to prepare the worshipper for the coming of the true Light, Jesus Christ. Please join us for the start of the Advent season Sunday, December 1 at 5 PM!
