Stewardship Campaign 2014

Dear Lord,

We stand before You as the stewards of St. Michael & St. George. We know that You have blessed us abundantly, both in our parish and in our personal lives, so that we would have the resources necessary to do Your work.

We gratefully thank You for Your many blessings to us. We ask You to look down favorably on all that we do for our parish.

We recall that Your son, Jesus, taught us that much will be required of the person entrusted with much and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.

Send Your Spirit down upon us so that we may have the strength to turn away from endless materialistic demands and turn instead toward Your ways. Help us to know the joy that You promised when You taught us that it was better to give than to receive.

Smile down upon our many efforts here at The Church of St. Michael & St. George and - just as You multiplied the humble loaves and fishes that were placed before You so long ago in Galilee - multiply our own simple gifts so that we may feed all those who hunger for Your Word. We ask this in Your name, In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN.

If you want to make a pledge and need a pledge card please contact Laurie Brown at Laurie@csmsg.org or 314.721.1502. Pledge cards can also be found in the pews and Narthex.

If you care enough about your church to make a faithful annual pledge, contributing to our Endowment Fund should be a natural next step. If you are interested in more information about making a planned gift to CSMSG, please visit our website at www.csmsg.org for more information, or please contact the Rector's Office at 314.721.1502.
